Shezheen, TC 2013, is a green tea ice cream-loving MCDB major from Karachi. Last year she was SAS's cultural chair, and this year she looks forward to immersing herself further in the SAS community as vice president.



Arvind Mohan Cultural Chair
Arvind, BR 2014, hails from Houston, Texas and could end up as a political science or biology major (or, maybe French). He loves Tres Leches cake, and has been to India once, when he was a baby. As Cultural Chair, he's excited to make sure all of the different cultures and identities SAS represents are mixed well together.

Bibhusha Dangol Treasurer
Bibhusha Dangol, ES 2014, is an Economics major from Kathmandu. She loves momos and chips chilly, and probably knows more Bollywood songs than anyone else on SAS board. As this year's treasurer, Bibhusha looks forward to making SAS as rich as possible while being frugal as well.

Aahan Bhojani Secretary
Aahan, ES 2014, is a potential Economics and Political Science who suffers a mild identity crisis when asked where he's from (born and brought up in Dubai, but originally from New Delhi). He appreciates anything chocolate-y from Ben & Jerry's, and can't wait to promote all of SAS' happenings and events within Yale's wider community!

Anjali Ambani Social Chair
Anjali, MC 2014, loves sushi, mochi ice cream, samosa chaat and wenzels and is a future Psychology major. She has lived in India, America and England and as a result she has a weird thing going on where her accent switches to mirror whoever she's talking to. Talk to her, and you'll find out - you'll also discover that as Social Chair she is really excited to plan SAS parties, mixers and all other social events!

Nabila, DC 2014, is a potential economics major from Mumbai. She's a fan of the song Tumse Hi from Jab We Met, and loves mint chocolate chip ice cream. Nabila knows how to paraglide, and is excited as Outreach Coordinator to reach out to anyone interested in South Asia!

Tara Abraham Publicity Chair
Tara, SY 2014, is really excited to promote SAS events and maintain this website throughout the year. Tara lives in Hong Kong, but her family is originally from Kerala, in India. She loves chocolate and potatoes (but not together).
